IQC will visit and inspect plants to ensure their competency and their reliability
With Internet, it is easy to find one or even several suppliers for a product or a service. But in addition to the price, buyers are also seriously interested to know with whom they do business. A visit or a plant audit is needed to know whether the supplier is able to provide the product or service required. Several factories have no equipment or expertise necessary to produce an adequate product. They will pretend otherwise and they will have to work with inadequate resources to reach good results. Some others do not respect the laws, the individual or the environment. They are not legally registered in their countries, are working with children, use low quality or contaminated materials ... Other plants on the internet do not even exist! They promise to take your order and then they give it to subcontractors. While paying an intermediate, you lose control of your purchases and the quality. Some simply take possession of your deposit and disappear letting you without recourse.
All the preceding should be seriously considered, controlled and the data should be verified in order to judge the supplier's competency. Here are some points that our agents are very familiar with:

- Name of the persons in charge of the various departments
- Plant specialization
- Year of establishment of the factory and its history
- Certificate of recognized competency (ISO, UL, CE, EN, BPI...)
- Governmental registration.

- Collaborators/subcontractors and supply of raw materials
- Number of employees / departments, wages and management, general treatment
- Healthy respect for the environment and places in general

Other points of control on the plant or product are specifically added for the convenience of our customers for each of our visits. For each of the audits, IQC physically verify the bulk of information, take pictures of documents and copies of documents. Certificates of competence and commercial registration are verified with governments and concerned organizations.
Several plant managers refuse such intrusion in their business privacies. This is in their honor. Nevertheless, the audit still manages to judge the sincerity and predisposition of the plant to meet the needs of our client.
A detail audit report is submitted to our customer within 7 days after the audit. This report may contain photographs, certificates, business cards, catalogs and videos during our visit. Also, a certificate of conformity will be given to the plant if it meets the basic standards of IQC. Once the plant is inspected, it becomes reassuring to make the necessary payments for the acquisition of the product or service. Despite that promise, it is highly recommended not to pay 100% of the costs before making sure one or more controls on the quality of the product are competed.
